  • Journalism and mass communication Curriculum Design: Major journalism and mass communication Courses, BA (Hons) journalism and mass communication minors, and journalism and mass communication courses. The curriculum was Decided to keep in mind UGC-DEB-based guidelines, the UGC Model Syllabus, and the NEP-2020 Guidelines.

  • The program will address the needs of Indian newsrooms, with high impact curriculum and content for students.

  • Students will be trained in various aspects of journalism and communication profession, mainly in media. Students will be exposed to journalists in newspapers, TV, radio and digital media as well as non-media communication operations.

  • In the coming future, journalism and communication professionals will need skills beyond content generation and duration for specific media. Digital media, which today has the most local as well as global opportunities, requires print, TV and radio with all the combined skills required by new technologies. This program is primarily to develop skills through planned delivery.

  • Students will also need the skills to think about national and international issues, implement ideas, create and curate journalistic content or media products. This should be of global relevance, and finally, know how to sell it in the digital market in a global market.

12th Pass or its equivalent in any Discipline.

  • A three-tiered approach to assessment is adopted in journalism and mass communication courses Distance education system to assess student progress.

  • Self-Assessment:- At the end of the points and topics prescribed in Students can continue their studies through Journalism and Mass Communication study material. Self-assessment through 'Check Your Progress'.

  • Continuous Assessment: 30% of the continuous assessment in Journalism and Mass Communication will be done through independent work. Semester Evaluation:- Semester evaluation is based on 70% marks.
