Training and Placement Cell:

The university has a separate Training and Placement Cell (TPC) managed by a dedicated team. The TPC is a platform for the Training and Placement of learners and acts as a window between students and the outside organizations. The Training and Placement Cell establishes contacts with industrial houses to arrange training and placement of the learners.

The office of Training and Placement Cell guides and helps the final year students in securing fruitful career with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus Interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement. The university has signed MoU with various Business Organizations and Placement Agencies to train the learners for placement. The department extends all possible help and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the organizations and their respective officials conducting campus interviews in the University, regularly:

યોગ્યતા માપદંડ(Eligiblity):

૨. લાયકાત

  • કોઈપણ વિદ્યાશાખામાં સ્નાતક (બી.એ. / બી.કોમ. / બી.બી.એ. / બી.એસસી. વગેરે), ઓછામાં ઓછા ૫૦% ગુણ સાથે.
  • સ્નાતકના છેલ્લા વર્ષમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા (પરિણામની રાહ જોતા) વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પણ નોંધણી કરાવી શકશે.
  • ઉમેદવારે પસંદ કરેલ સ્થળે દરરોજ રૂબરૂ હાજર રહેવાની તૈયારી હોવી આવશ્યક છે.
  • કોમ્પ્યુટરનું પાયાનું જ્ઞાન તથા ગુજરાતી અને અંગ્રેજી ભાષા પરનું પ્રભુત્વ ઈચ્છનીય.

૫. ધ્યાનમાં લેવાની અગત્યની બાબતો

  1. ફોર્મમાં એનરોલમેન્ટ નંબર તથા નામ યુનિવર્સિટીના રેકોર્ડ મુજબ જ ભરવાં.
  2. એક ઉમેદવારે એક જ સ્થળ માટે નોંધણી કરવી. એકથી વધુ સ્થળમાં રસ હોય તો દરેક સ્થળ માટે અલગ નોંધણી કરવી.
  3. ફોર્મમાં આપેલી માહિતી યુનિવર્સિટીના રેકોર્ડ સાથે ચકાસવામાં આવશે. માહિતી ખોટી જણાયે ઉમેદવારી રદ ગણવામાં આવશે.
  4. નોંધણી કરાવવી એ નિમણૂકની ખાતરી ગણાશે નહીં. પ્રાથમિક ચકાસણી બાદ પાત્ર ઉમેદવારોની યાદી સંબંધિત સંસ્થાને મોકલવામાં આવશે.
  5. નોંધણી કરાવનાર ઉમેદવારની વિગતો આ ભરતી પૂરતી જ સંબંધિત સંસ્થાને મોકલવામાં આવશે.

The Training & Placement Cell, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, is organising a placement drive for the post of Library Assistant with GA Digital Web Word Pvt. Ltd., Gandhinagar for providing manpower on a contract basis to Government Colleges across Gujarat.

Candidates are advised to apply for the location where they reside or where they are willing to stay, as the posting will be at the selected college.

Post and Remuneration

  • Post: Library Assistant (contractual engagement through the agency, deployed at a Government College)
  • Salary: ₹18,649/- per month (consolidated)
  • Age: 18 to 35 years

Eligibility

  • Candidates who have PASSED B.Lib. or M.Lib. and hold the final mark sheet.
  • Final-year students and candidates awaiting results are NOT eligible.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with library software or e-resources is desirable.

Job Role

  • Perform duties punctually as per the timetable of the Government College.
  • Manage daily operations of the library, including book registration and maintenance of records.
  • Handle book distribution, preservation and cataloguing.
  • Guide students and faculty in accessing books and digital resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly reports.
  • Assist in the management of online and e-library services.

  • છેલ્લા વર્ષમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા અથવા પરિણામની રાહ જોતા ઉમેદવારો પાત્ર નથી.
