Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

In service teacher's training programme

A bachelor or higher degree from a recognized university, and Two years full time regular teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate Teachers in primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognized by the central or state government or a union territory are eligible to take admission.

Admissions are done on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Test.

In-service teachers with :
New Norms and Standards-2015 (NCTE-ODL)

Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable.
Admissions are done on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Test.

GROUP A : CORE COURSES (20 CREDITS - 15 THEORY + 5 PRACTICAL)

CONSIDERING THE JOB REQUIREMENT OF SCHOOL TEACHERS AND THE BROAD PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES, THE FOLLOWING FIVE CORE COURSES OF 4 CREDITS EACH ARE IDENTIFIED :

GROUP D : PRACTICAL COURSE (16 CREDITS)
IN THIS SET OF COURSES EMPHASIS IS LAID ON SKILL DEVELOPMENT. THE PRACTICAL WORK IS BASED ON THE SUBJECT/CONTENT PRESENTED IN THE VARIOUS THEORY COURSES.

THE PRACTICAL EXPERIENCES ARE SUITABLY CATEGORIZED AND ORGANIZED UNDER THE FOLLOWING THREE PRACTICAL COURSES :
